ZMorph 3D printer launches in United States

Today, ZMorph announced that it is starting distribution of its 3D printers with dedicated software Voxelizer in the United States of America and is adding new revolutionary toolheads, laser one and a 5-axis universal end-effector, to its 3D printed toolheads’ family.

Ever since ZMorph started shipping its first 3D printers at the end of 2013 to European countries it has been capturing a prominent position within the competitive 3D printing market. After expanding the market for its personal fabrication devices by adding six European countries to its retail plans and making 3D printers available in France, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Switzerland and Turkey, ZMorph decided to continue its expansion and opened its first European retail store, located in Haarlem, Netherlands (home to the company’s exclusive European distributor Multi 3D Print BV and the capital of 3D printing industry).

On top of this, ZMorph announced the availability of its 3D printing products – personal fabrication devices – to the North American market. The company is going global launching its presence on different continent through various partnerships.

“Within a very short period of time, 3D printing has become really popular and has already started to influence many industries helping people to broaden their horizons and launch new business around the world, starting from having an impact on architecture, manufacturing or production, as well as on fashion, medicine or even food production. It is almost unbelievable how quickly the opportunities of 3D printing have become limitless ” says Przemek Jaworski, ZMorph’s CEO. “ZMorph’s next step of a quite rapid business expansion was almost inevitable. We have thought about launching our presence in the United States for more than 6 months and almost could not wait to start it and notice even bigger interest and participation of creative and innovative Americans in our community of personal fabrication” adds P. Jaworski.

Moreover, ZMorph is exhibiting at Inside 3D Printing Show in Santa Clara, US and will be presenting two new revolutionary toolheads that expand the usability of their flagship product – ZMorph Personal Fabricator 2.0. One of them is a laser toolhead and the other is a 5-axis universal end-effector available for purchasing in just few upcoming months. Now, with the addition of the new toolheads, ZMorph offers even more possibilities than specialized extruders for broad material apps such as plastics, ceramics, chocolate and cake, but also such tooling solutions as milling, engraving and laser cutting. With this personal fabricator 3D modeling allows designers and architects to create really advanced projects with intricate details and designs, giving them endless possibilities for personal fabrication and bringing their ideas into real products.

“Multi-functionality is ZMorph’s main advantage” highlights P. Jaworski. “It allows your 3D printer to be something really special, it becomes your personal fabricator, a mini factory that can work in almost every workshop, office or home. With the latest advances of toolheads the 3D printer has changed from a useful device into a truly multi-functional machine, able to work with many materials and techniques, additive and subtractive. Now, with small-power (2W) laser onboard, it can cut and engrave paper, cardboard, wood, acrylics and many more! Besides that, 5-axis toolhead allows working with many new techniques – such as 5-axis milling, structured light scanning, and even 5D printing. All of that is possible thanks to the working with special add-ons, or end-effectors that are mounted on the toolhead, and driven by special plugins installed in dedicated software package” explains P. Jaworski from Zmorph.

ZMorph also features an innovative and technologically advanced in-house developed software package based on voxels – three-dimensional pixels, called Voxelizer. It provides accurate 3D print quality, but also supports the user in the correct preparation of the model.

ZMorph 3D – a company specializing in the design of three-dimensional digital models widely used in design, fashion and architecture. The manufacturer of 3D printers generating the printouts of three-dimensional physical objects based on a computer model. ZMorph’s 3D printers with interchangeable toolhead system enable to print with all types of plastics available, ceramics, rubber, nylon, chocolate and cake as well as to work as a 3D milling machines. Using multiple techniques and materials for home and office’s digital materialization the company is perceived as a leader in the era of personal fabrication. The company is also the creator of Voxelizer – dedicated software designed to provide support for 3D reprinting. More: www.zmorph3d.com
